Emily Armet, owner and broker of Avalon Real Estate & Home Loans is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a Mortgage Loan Originator.  Being a Realtor and Loan Officer gives her the unique ability to see her clients through the entire real estate transaction, from selling your home to purchasing a new one, and even obtaining home financing.  This expertise provides an extra advantage to her clients, as either a knowledgeable Realtor or as your loan officer.

Emily received her bachelor’s degree and then her multiple subject teaching credential from Cal Poly in 1998.  Prior to her Real Estate career, which began in 2005, she was an elementary school teacher.  This experience makes her an excellent coach and teacher to her real estate clients. 

As a 20 year residence of San Luis Obispo County, she knows the people, towns, neighborhoods, and schools of our beloved Central Coast.  She now resides in Atascadero with her husband and three children.  She is a very involved community member, volunteering in school and educational functions, sponsoring youth sports, fundraisers and is very active in Atascadero Bible Church.

Jackie Lerno was born and raised in Templeton and has lived in Atascadero since 1976.  She has 44 years of local experience in mortgages and escrow, specializing in residential sales, exchanges, bulk sales, liquor license transfers and mobile homes. 

She retired from escrow in 1997 where she was branch manager of Chicago Title Company in Atascedero. In the past she has worked as a loan officer in Atascadero with The Mortgage House and Colony Mortgage. 

She has served as President of the Rotary Club where she was "Rotarian of the Year" in 2007. Since 1995 she has been a director of the Atascadero Mutual Water Company, presiding as President and Vice President of this organization.  She is currently a member of the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce, where she was honored as Citizen of the Year in 1995.  Jackie volunteers with the Atascadero Loves and Fishes, which provides food for the hungry of our community. 

As evidenced by her good reputation after years of work and service in her community, Jackie prides herself in working hard for her clients.  Avalon Home Loans is fortunate to have Jackie as part of the team!

Angie Souza Transaction Coordinator

Angie Souza has been a transaction coordinator for several agents in the San Luis Obispo County for 17 years. She is experienced and super-efficient, making our transactions wonderfully smooth.

Angie has lived on the Central Coast since 1973. She is a graduate of Atascadero High School and Marylhurst University in Portland, Oregon , where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English. She currently lives in Nipomo with her husband, where she is near her grown children and grandchildren. When Angie has time off she enjoys adventurous travels.
